Cardinal Dolan says Hillary owes Catholics an apology

New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan called for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton to disassociate herself from anti-Catholic statements made by her campaign chairman and said the remarks were “extraordinarily patronizing and insulting to Catholics.”

Asked about the anti-Catholic comments after speaking at The Bishop’s Respect Life Dinner on Monday night for the Diocese of Colorado Springs, Cardinal Dolan suggested that had other faith traditions been the target of the prejudiced remarks, there would have been a swift apology and absolute disavowal of them.

But as far as an apology from Clinton for the remarks demeaning Catholics, “Hasn’t happened yet,” Cardinal Dolan said.

Call me an apostate, but I actually agree with Cardinal Dolan here.  There is a war going on and the Catholic Church is in the other side’s cross hairs.  The unwashed Philistines need to be called out, names named, blah, blah, blah. (Many apologies to the Philistines in the audience).

The usually tolerant Cardinal has said “Bravo” when a sodomite athlete revels in is perversion and applauds enthusiastically (while chewing on his eyeglasses, deep in intellectual thought) while attending a Sodomite celebration inside a Catholic Church.

Save for the manly Archbishop of Kansas calling out pro-abortion Democratic VP Candidate Tim Kaine for being a “Cafeteria Catholic,” we hardly here an ecclesiastical peep.  The list goes on: Nancy Pelosi, John Podesta, Joe Biden, et al., ad nauseum. What – the hell – do you have to do to get excommunicated around here!

So Hillary owes Catholics an apology.  For my money, she can keep it.  But she has embraced (and said so loud and clear at the last debate) that the only bad abortion is the one that gets away.  She reiterated her plan to continue making the U.S. taxpayers pay for abortions through Planned Parenthood.  She reaffirmed that she will never go back, voicing her screeching support for Partial Birth Abortion, you know that delectable procedure wherein a scissors is jammed into the base of the skull of the infant in the process of being born.

Can anyone say “unfit to govern?”

But now that the good Cardinal’s ox is being gored, he’s expecting an apology.  Would that actually make him feel better?  Would that signal one iota of change to the Democratic agenda?  Ummm.  No.

So, Cardinal Dolan, while your sitting in the catbird seat at the Al Smith Dinner – smack dab between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, while she’s in the apologizing mode, why don’t you see if you could work in a little repenting for the blood of 60,000,000 unborn babies.   They are the ones really getting gored.  Literally.

You might want to be careful about shaking her hand; you don’t want to get any of that blood on your hands, if ya’ know what I’m talking about.

That fancy white cloth napkin isn’t going to wipe that away.  Just sayin’.
