Guilty until proven innocent.

Georgia woman arrested for refusing quarantine, proves herself innocent.

Woman was exposed to the ColdVid-19 virus, said “no, thank you” when ordered to quarantine.  So her neighbors partially  dismantled their toilet paper fortress and called the Stasi who arrested her.  Said police are operating under austere conditions due to the closing of the local doughnut shops which have been determined to be non-essential.

The woman was spotted April 7 in Tallapoosa, and citizens called police, who arrested her. She was charged with criminal trespassing.

In what is likely to be construed as cruel and unusual treatment, she was imprisoned in a camper on jail property, so as not to run the risk of infecting the other ne’er do wells.  Once she successfully took a virus screen without so much of a “sorry for the inconvenience.”  All charges against her were dropped.

Bucking the old, constitutional trend toward presumed innocent until proven guilty, Georgia seems to be following a trend of treating those who don’t comply with every executive order are presumed guilty.
